Meet Hailey

I am deeply drawn to working with sex, intimacy, trauma, and relationship dynamics for both couples and individuals. There is a profound beauty in the complexity of a relationship, with its many moving parts, unique histories, and emotional layers. While connecting deeply with others is arguably the most rewarding part of the human experience, it can also be the most challenging. For those who have experienced trauma, you may yearn for closeness, yet find intimate connection to be intimidating or anxiety-inducing.

In my own life and clinical practice, I’ve found that understanding Attachment Theory has been transformative. It shines a light on how our earliest experiences shape who we are today, how we show up in our partnerships, and how we can heal.

My Integrative Therapeutic Approach

Depending on your specific concerns, I tailor our sessions to bring you closer to your unique goals. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I blend three highly effective, evidence-based modalities:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Focuses on mindfulness and psychological flexibility to help you accept what is out of your control, disentangle from negative self-talk, and commit to actions that align with your deepest values.

  • Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT): Goes beneath the surface of repetitive arguments to heal the root emotional disconnect, teaching couples how to communicate from a place of vulnerability and secure attachment.

  • EMDR Therapy: A somatic, brain-body approach that allows trauma survivors to reprocess painful memories, effectively releasing stored shock, stress, and tension so they can live freely in the present.

Education & Professional Background

Before becoming a therapist, I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University (Go Green!), giving me a foundational background in business and operations. Driven by a desire to support others on a deeper level, I went on to complete my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois, completing three years of advanced academic study and clinical internship.

Beyond the Therapy Room

On a personal note, I am a nature-lover dedicated to a lifestyle of health, movement, and happiness. I was raised in Michigan and spent several years in Chicago and Asheville before happily relocating to Greenville, South Carolina.

When I am not working with clients, you can usually find me curled up on the couch watching a good show with my husband and our two cats, Puff and Boots. To recharge my own battery, I love practicing and teaching yoga, hiking, playing volleyball, traveling, and eating out. My current long-term goal is to visit as many of our beautiful National Parks as possible!
